Environmental Information Centre, an environmental NGO was established officially in 1999, however since 1996 it was functioning as a branch of Vilnius nature protection society, which is working since 1963. EIC survived the development of the democratic processes in the post Soviet republic and participated actively in the process of accession to the EU. We are working on environmental quality improvement and different topics - GMO, water, bats, vetaran trees, organic farming, green consumption, democracy, sustainable development etc....
